Victor Roache: Inks deal with St. Louis
The Cardinals signed Roache to a minor-league contract last week, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
A first-round pick of the Brewers in 2012, Roache was dealt to the Dodgers last May and struggled for their High-A affiliate at Rancho Cucamonga, slashing .192/.257/.416 in 136 plate appearances. Though he's displayed some intriguing power during his minor-league career and has a strong pedigree, Roache's poor contact skills make it unlikely that he'll ever surface at the major-league level.

Victor Roache: Let go by Dodgers
Roache was released by the Dodgers earlier this month, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
The 2012 first-round draft pick's career in affiliated ball could be on life support, as he's failed to ascend past the Double-A level and struggled mightily in the California League this season, slashing .192/.257/.416 across 136 plate appearances for High-A Rancho Cucamonga. Still, since Roache won't turn 26 until Sept. 17, it wouldn't be surprising if he landed another minor-league deal if another organization believes it can help him resolve his contact issues.

Dodgers' Victor Roache: Shipped to Dodgers
Roache was traded to the Dodgers on Thursday for a player to be named later or cash considerations.
Roache, a 2012 first-rounder, was off to a .176/.238/.230 start through 22 games with Double-A Biloxi this season before he was shipped off. While Roache has flashed some power in previous minor-league seasons, he's never played above Double-A, so it's safe to assume that's where he'll start with the Dodgers.

Brewers' Victor Roache: Healthy heading into regular season
Roache (calf) hit a home run in a minor league spring game with Double-A Biloxi on Friday.
Roache's 2016 campaign was cut short by his calf injury, and he was brought along slowly this spring, but he appears healthy heading into the regular season. Roache is a 2012 first-rounder entering his age-25 season, so 2017 will be a pivotal year for the path of his development.

Brewers' Victor Roache: Will be out another 10 days
Roache (calf) will miss another 10 days with a strained calf, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Before the 24-year-old was placed on the 7-day DL, he was batting .243/.337/.412 with four home runs and 15 RBI for Double-A Biloxi in 2016. Roache should return to the diamond soon, and has a chance to be called up to Triple-A before the season comes to an end.

Roache went 2-for-3 with one RBI and a walk in the second game of a doubleheader on Thursday.
Roache is batting .248/.336/.434 with Double-A Biloxi this season. The 24-year-old has struggled throughout his career with strikeouts, and this trait has been on display in 2016, as Roache has been struck out 37 times during 39 games. Although he has regressed since his hot start to the year, Roache could see some time in Triple-A this season if he can improve upon his plate discipline and find his groove again.

Roache owns a .333/.389/.606 slash line to go along with a home run, six doubles, and four RBI through 11 games with Double-A Biloxi.
Roache is off to a fast start this season, as each of his three slash line averages is exceedingly better than his career norms. He has not played a full season at the Double-A level yet, but he is in his age-24 season, so he has a shot to see Triple-A action this year if he continues to hit.
