Robles went 4-for-6 with a three-run homer, a double and an additional run scored in Friday's Cactus League matchup with the Guardians.
It was an encouraging showing from Robles, who had been struggling mightily this spring. Coming into the day, the outfielder had gone just 2-for-24 in his first 12 Cactus League appearances. Robles should see steady playing time thanks to his defense, though he'll likely open the year in a short-side platoon role alongside lefty batters Dominic Canzone and Luke Raley. A shoulder injury limited Robles to just 32 regular-season appearances in 2025, and he slashed .245/.281/.330 with one homer and six stolen bases.

Mariners' Victor Robles: Checks back into spring lineup
Robles will serve as the Mariners' designated hitter and leadoff batter in Sunday's Cactus League game against the Brewers.
Robles will start for the first time since last Sunday, after the Mariners held him out of action for the past six days due to a sore shoulder, per Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com. Assuming Robles' shoulder checks out fine following Sunday's contest, he could resume playing the outfield at some point during the upcoming week.

Mariners' Victor Robles: Likely stuck in short-side platoon
Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said Sunday that, "as a baseline," he expects Luke Raley and Dominic Canzone to start against right-handers and Rob Refsnyder and Robles to start versus lefties, Adam Jude of the Seattle Times reports.
Hollander does not believe the team will employ a "hardcore platoon" in right field and at designated hitter, but as a general rule, the left-handed hitting Raley and Canzone will start most days versus righties and the left-handed hitting Refsnyder and Robles will be in there against southpaws. Robles missed much of the 2025 season with a dislocated shoulder, and when healthy, he had just an 84 wRC+ in the regular season versus righties.
