Blue Jays' Caleb Freeman: Latches on with Jays
Freeman signed a minor-league contract with the Blue Jays on Monday.
Freeman spent a brief amount of time with the White Sox last season, allowing two earned runs over 3.1 innings across five appearances in the big leagues. Most of his time was spent in the minors, however, where he posted a 4.44 ERA and 1.60 WHIP across 50.2 frames between Double-A and Triple-A. He'll report to Double-A New Hampshire to begin his tenure with the Jays and isn't likely to serve as more than organizational bullpen depth.

White Sox's Caleb Freeman: Staying in organization
The White Sox outrighted Freeman to Triple-A Charlotte on Monday, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.
Freeman cleared waivers after being booted off the 40-man roster and will remain in the organization. The 27-year-old will provide relief depth at Charlotte.

White Sox's Caleb Freeman: Booted from 40-man roster
The White Sox designated Freeman for assignment Friday.
Freeman has been with Triple-A Charlotte since June 5 and owns a 2.55 ERA and a 23:16 K:BB over 24.2 innings. However, he'll yield his spot on the 40-man roster to Jake Palisch. Assuming he clears waivers, Freeman will likely remain at Triple-A.

The White Sox optioned Freeman to Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday.
Freeman's most recent stint in the majors lasted only a couple days, and he tossed a scoreless inning in his lone relief appearance. Owen White was called up from Triple-A to take Freeman's spot on the 26-man active roster and in the bullpen.

The White Sox selected Freeman's contract from Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday.
The right-hander is joining Chicago for his first look in the big leagues ahead of Sunday's series finale versus Houston. Freeman has been dominant early this year at Charlotte and has a 1.35 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 16:5 K:BB over 13.1 innings.
