    Hauver will be traded from the Yankees to the Rangers along with Ezequiel Duran, Josh Smith and Glenn Otto in exchange for Joey Gallo and Joely Rodriguez, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

    Hauver was a third-round pick in the 2020 first-year player draft and has spent the 2021 campaign with Low-A Tampa. The 22-year-old has swung a hot bat, maintaining a .288/.445/.498 line -- though that is on the strength of a .393 BABIP. Perhaps most impressive is his 21.4 percent walk rate, but it remains to be seen how his profile translates to the upper levels of the minor leagues.
