Devastating: Red Panda, NBA's best halftime show, set to retire
Red Panda, known for riding on a unicycle while flipping bowls onto her head at NBA halftime shows, is calling it quits.
Rim-rattling news broke on the NBA halftime show beat on Thursday morning, and we’re all worse off because of it.
Longtime NBA and NCAA performer Red Panda, known for riding a perilously high unicycle while flipping ceramic bowls onto her head, is retiring due to injury. She missed the 2013-14 circuit with a torn ACL and apparently has decided to hang up her spokes.
According to USF’s @MJFarrell, Red Panda has retired. There needs to be an online campaign to put her in the Basketball Hall of Fame.

This is horrible. Countless reporters have delayed their deadline stories while watching Rong Niu perform at arenas across the country. She’ll be missed dearly, and in an effort to pay proper tribute, Sportschannel8 made this stirring video.
Watch with tissues at the ready.
