For the last three seasons, Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young has played with Kobe Bryant for a total of 451 minutes. Injuries have come into play for both players but for those seven hours and 31 minutes they have played together, Young has never thrown an assist to Bryant.

Not one time.

But that drought finally came to an end against the Houston Rockets on Saturday night, when Young had his first-ever assist to Bryant.

Finding Bryant open for a transition three-pointer, Young got the assist in the second quarter against the Rockets. This was his only assist for the game.

After the game, Young told reporters that the Adidas Yeezy Boost 750s he wore in the game helped him get the assist. ""It was the Yeezys tonight that got the assist for him," Young joked with reporters.

Young recently signed a sneaker deal with Adidas and the Yeezys were the first shoes from the brand he decided to wear in a game. Maybe if he keeps wearing them, he will continue to deliver assists to Bryant.

Eitehr way, I just can't get over this. These guys have played together for three-plus years and this is the first time Young has EVER had an assist on a Kobe Bryant basket.

And Kobe's the one who catches heat for his volume shooting?

Great teammates, Kobe and Nick Young.
