Report: Lamar Odom takes big steps in his recovery, condition improving

Recovering in Los Angeles after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel in early October, former NBA player Lamar Odom's condition has reportedly improved significantly.
According to TMZ, Odom was able to take three steps without any assistance. Odom has been able to move but has been using a walker until this point. He had become so reliant on his walker that his three steps "shocked" doctors, since it came out of nowhere.
TMZ also reports that Odom's brain function is "slowly improving." After weeks of not being able to recognize anyone, Odom recognized a hospital staff member which is great news. With his conidition improving, Odom will be moved to a rehab facility in the coming weeks.
Odom who has played for the Lakers, Clippers, Heat and Mavericks has the entire NBA community pulling for him. And with Odom in the beginning phases of his long road to recovery, this report is very encouraging to hear.
