Reports: Giants request to interview Redskins' Raheem Morris

The Giants have requested permission to interview Redskins defensive backs coach Raheem Morris for their vacant defensive coordinator position, according to multiple reports. New York is looking for a new defensive coordinator after parting ways with Perry Fewell on Wednesday.

The Redskins are giving Morris permission to interview with the Giants, a source told The Washington Post.

Morris was the Bucs coach from 2009-11 before joining the Washington staff in 2012. Morris was 17-31 in three seasons with Tampa Bay.
