Lions wide receiver Ryan Broyles (knee) said he's ready to play after sitting out the first two games, but he wouldn't commit to saying if he will be in the lineup Week 3 at Washington.
"I'm going repetition after repetition in practice," he said, per MLive.com. "I've probably done everything game-speed to this point. I'm looking forward to just going out there and playing. I want to play football in January, February, March, April. So whenever I can have the opportunity to go out there -- third game of the year, hopefully -- but if not, I'll wait my turn and be ready when my opportunity comes."
Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said Kris Durham could replace Pat Edwards (ankle) in the lineup Week 3, if Edwards isn't able to play. However, Broyles is trying to throw his name into the mix to start Sunday.
"I'm ready to go out there and be free," he said. "To play the game I love in front of however many people it'll be."
