Browns featured back Ben Tate now has just 61 yards rushing in his last 32 attempts, courtesy of a 16-for-25 effort Sunday against Oakland. But he did soothe his frustrations a bit with 2:26 remaining in the game.
That's when Tate found a hole up the middle for his third touchdown of the season. He also caught one pass for eight yards in the Cleveland victory. His recent struggles mirror those of the entire backfield since center Alex Mack was knocked out for the season with a broken leg.
Tate will try to get the ground game back on track when the Browns host the Buccaneers in Week 9.
