Ballentine suffered a dislocated knee cap in addition to a torn PCL and MCL in the same left knee during a freak accident early last season. After an offseason of rehab, and when team doctors give him the thumbs up, he should be all set to retake the field come Week 1. Though Ballentine hasn't played much during his first two injury-marred years in the league, his roster spot shouldn't be in danger.

Mr. Irrelevant of the 2014 NFL Draft, Ballentine suffered tears to both his MCL and PCL after dislocating his left knee in October of 2015. He will be over 10 months removed from the injury when training camp opens, though, and will be competing for a role on special teams and as a depth linebacker/safety.
