Cedric Thompson: Released by Minnesota
The Vikings released Thompson on Tuesday, Matt Vensel of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

He evidently didn't show enough to stick around with the Vikings through training camp and will now attempt to find an opportunity with another organization.
