Patterson was restored to the Browns' practice squad from the practice squad COVID-19 list Friday.
After more than a week on the list, Patterson will provide some depth along the offensive line in Sunday's playoff game against the Steelers, though he's unlikely to get into the contest barring injuries to JC Tretter and Anthony Fabiano at the center position.

Javon Patterson: Lands on COVID list
The Browns have placed Patterson on the practice squad reserve/COVID-19 list, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
The team had to shut down the practice facility for a couple of hours Wednesday as a result of Patterson's diagnosis as well as that of an assistant coach, who also tested positive.

Colts' Javon Patterson: Back at practice
Patterson (knee) has been a full participant during training camp, Joel A. Erickson of the Indianapolis Star reports.
Patterson missed all of last season due to a torn ACL he suffered in training camp and ended up on injured reserve. Now healthy, the 2019 seventh-round pick will hope to make his NFL debut and provide depth to the interior of the offensive line.

The Colts officially placed Patterson (knee) on injured reserve Monday, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.
No surprise here, as Patterson suffered a torn ACL and will miss the entire 2019 season. He was just drafted by the Colts in the seventh round and was looking to earn a role supplying depth on the offensive line.
