Taumoepeau (neck) cleared waivers and reverted to Detroit's reserve/non-football injury list Tuesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Taumoepeau suffered the injury in a car accident over the weekend, and he was waived with a non-football injury designation Monday. The 23-year-old is set to spend the rest of the season on the reserve list after going unclaimed on waivers.

Taumoepeau (neck) was waived with a non-football injury designation by the Lions on Monday, Justin Rogers of The Detroit News reports.
Taumoepeau suffered the injury in a car accident over the weekend, and he's being let go by Detroit while the driver, former teammate Alex Brown, faces criminal charges. Taumoepeau is still looking to make his NFL debut after going undrafted out of Portland State last year.
