Taylor Russolino: Demoted to practice squad
Russolino reverted to the Broncos' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Russolino endured a disastrous day filling in at kicker Saturday against the Bills with Brandon McManus residing on the reserve/COVID-19 list for Week 15. The XFL standout made just one of three point-after attempts, missing his lone field-goal try of 51 yards.

Broncos' Taylor Russolino: Joins Denver's roster
The Broncos elevated Russolino from their practice squad Friday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Russolino will be making his NFL debut Saturday against the Bills, serving as Denver's kicker after Brandon McManus (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list earlier this week. Though McManus continues to test negative for the virus, the timing of his placement on the list will prevent him from gaining clearance ahead of Saturday's game, so Russolino was needed for what will likely just be a one-game stint with Denver. Russolino's most recent professional action came earlier in 2020, when he converted nine of 10 field-goal tries for the XFL's St. Louis BattleHawks.

Taylor Russolino: Could kick for Denver in Week 15
Russolino would stand to start Saturday's game against the Bills if Brandon McManus (COVID-19 list) is unavailable, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.
Coach Vic Fangio said Thursday that he doesn't expect McManus to be available Week 15, so it looks like Russolini could be set to make his first NFL start. The 31-year-old recently saw action as a member of the St. Louis BattleHawks in the XFL, when he converted nine of 10 field-goal attempts.
