CJ Johnson: Settles with Packers
Johnson (hamstring) has agreed to an injury settlement with the Packers and has been released from injured reserve.
Johnson was placed on injured reserve in early August due to the hamstring issue, but it appears he and the team will part ways instead of spending the season on the list. He will now be free to sign anywhere once his hamstring heals.

Packers' CJ Johnson: Headed to IR
Johnson was placed on injured reserve Monday, the team's official site reports.
Johnson had been sidelined from training camp due to a hamstring injury, but the issue was apparently severe enough to land him on IR. Fellow inside linebacker Jake Ryan has also been placed on IR, so Marcus Porter and Ahmad Thomas figure to see additional reps behind first-teamers Blake Martinez and Oren Burks.

Packers' CJ Johnson: Misses practice Monday
Johnson did not participate in Monday's practice due to a hamstring injury, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Johnson was sidelined due to what appears to be a minor hamstring issue, but he could have a heightened chance at making the roster upon his return to full health after starter Jake Ryan suffered a potentially serious leg injury Monday.
