Blake Jackson: Given injury settlement
Jackson (knee) was waived with an injury settlement by the Browns on Tuesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Jackson was let go by the Browns after getting by passed on waivers and even was placed on injured reserve. It's unclear how he picked up the injury but he should be considered a long shot to make an NFL roster this season.

Browns' Blake Jackson: Reverts to IR
Jackson (knee) cleared waivers Saturday and reverted to the Browns' injured reserve, per the NFL communication's official transaction log.
Jackson will not count against Cleveland's active roster. Barring an injury settlement, the former Division III standout for Mary-Hardin Baylor will spend the 2019 season on IR.

Jackson (knee) was waived/injured by the Browns on Friday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Jackson joined the Browns' practice squad in October 2018. He signed with the team during the offseason, but he was still considered a long shot to land on their final roster. Assuming he does not get claimed off waivers, he will revert to the team's injured reserve.

The Browns promoted Jackson from the practice squad to the active roster Friday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Jackson, a quarterback in college at Mary-Hardin Baylor, had been signed by the Browns as a wide receiver. He was added to the 53-man roster after Cleveland placed linebacker Tanner Vallejo (hamstring) on injured reserve.

Jackson was a Division III standout for Mary-Hardin Baylor as a quarterback and will join the Browns' practice squad as a wide receiver. He could be brought up to the active roster if injuries continue to hurt Cleveland's receiving corps.
