Williams was waived by the Bengals on Sunday.
Williams was brought back by the Bengals for the 2022 campaign after spending time on their practice squad last season, while also earning a Week 13 appearance on kick returns. Although a muffed punt in Friday's preseason loss to the Cardinals likely didn't help his chances, the Bengals also already have multiple return man options on their roster, which left Williams expendable.
