Desnoyers has been released from his professional tryout by the Wild, the team announced Sunday.
While Desnoyers was released from Minnesota's training camp, he will report to AHL Iowa's training camp to compete for a spot there. The 23-year-old spent the last three seasons in the Flyers' organization and had 19 points in 59 regular-season games last year with AHL Lehigh Valley.

After making his NHL debut during the 2022-23 campaign, Desnoyers has played exclusively for AHL Lehigh Valley over the last two seasons. Desnoyers was recalled two weeks ago and managed to get into his first two NHL games. He was pointless before being sent back to the AHL a week ago. Desnoyers picked up a goal and an assist this past week in four AHL games, giving him 20 goals and 38 points in 52 games with Lehigh Valley.

It's likely to keep Desnoyers in a rhythm, as the Flyers are off until Wednesday. The 21-year-old center logged six hits, three blocked shots, two shots on goal and a minus-1 rating in 14:53 of ice time as the third-line center Saturday. Desnoyers could be back with the big club for Wednesday's game versus the Rangers.
