Marcus Eriksson: Staying in Spain in 2018-19
Eriksson re-signed with Gran Canaria of the Spanish League on Wednesday, Keith Smith of RealGM.com reports.
Eriksson will remain overseas for the third straight season after getting selected by the Hawks in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft. The swingman averaged 12.8 points in 22.1 minutes per game and shot 47.5 percent from three-point range in his 37 games between Spanish League and EuroCup play.

Marcus Eriksson: Will likely stay in Spain in 2016-17
Eriksson is expected to spend the 2016-17 season with FC Barcelona of the Spanish ACB League, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Eriksson's rights belong to the Hawks following the team's second-round selection in 2015, but it doesn't appear that he's entertaining the idea of matriculating to the NBA. After missing the 2014-15 season with a torn ACL, Eriksson saw only a limited role with Barcelona after returning to the court last season, averaging 9.3 minutes in 24 games during ACB League play. The 22-year-old should see his playing time increase in 2016-17 in light of the recent news that fellow wing Alex Abrines would head over to the NBA this season to join the Thunder.
