Adam Morgan: Announces retirement

Morgan recently announced his retirement from baseball, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Morgan hasn't played professionally at any level since opting out of his minor-league deal with the Astros last May and is now officially stepping away from baseball. The 33-year-old spent seven seasons in the majors and posted a 4.80 ERA and 1.35 WHIP over 233 appearances (36 starts).
