Angels' Brian Moran: Serving as non-roster invitee

Moran will serve as a non-roster invitee for the Angels during spring training.

Moran signed a minor-league contract with the Angels in late November, and he'll get a chance to work with the team's big-league coaching staff this spring. The 33-year-old hasn't appeared in the majors since he made seven relief appearances for the Marlins and Blue Jays in 2020. However, he was effective at Triple-A Durham last year, as he posted a 2.16 ERA and 0.86 WHIP in 50 innings across 53 relief appearances.
