Angels' Jo Adell: To 60-day IL

Adell (oblique) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

He last played July 8, so this move means Adell won't return until Sept. 7 at the earliest. Jordyn Adams' contract was selected from Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move, and Adams, along with newcomer Randal Grichuk, will help provide outfield depth in the short term.
