Angels' Kyle Tyler: Contract selected by Halos

The Angels selected Tyler's contract from Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.

Tyler began the season at Double-A Rocket City and posted a 3.38 ERA and 1.19 WHIP before being promoted to Triple-A in early August, and he'll now make his way to the majors. The right-hander didn't enjoy that same success at Triple-A with a 5.14 ERA in five outings, but he'll attempt to get back on track for his MLB debut.
