Astros' Colin Moran: Credits swing changes for sizzling spring

Moran made some offseason adjustments to his swing, changes he feels are the reason for his strong performance this spring, Glenn Sattell of MLB.com reports. He's slashing .389/.476/.778 with two home runs and six RBI through 12 spring games.
Moran, a 2013 first-round draft pick that's failed to live up to the hype, reached Houston last season but was overmatched during an early-season callup. After showing little in 511 plate appearances at Triple-A Fresno, Moran was initially bypassed for a September callup before being summoned later in the month. His bounce-back this spring is an encouraging sign following a down season. Moran has played both first and third base during camp, but there's too much competition and he's unlikely to claim a roster spot on Opening Day.
