Pinder isn't starting Friday's game against the Blue Jays.
Even though Stephen Piscotty (undisclosed) is on the COVID-19 injured list, Pinder will retreat to the bench after drawing four consecutive starts. Kevin Smith will start at the hot corner and bat eighth.
