Athletics' Michael Feliz: Designated for assignment

Feliz was designated for assignment by the Athletics on Monday.

It's been a busy season for Feliz, who's now been designated for assignment by four separate organizations, having previously earned that dubious honor for the Pirates, Reds and Red Sox. He's only thrown 20 innings between those four organizations and has struggled to a 7.20 ERA, though both his 24.4 percent strikeout rate and 7.8 percent walk rate are fine marks. Luis Barrera was called up to take his place on the roster.
