Braves' Chris Withrow: Begins throwing Tuesday

Withrow (elbow) played catch Tuesday, Kevin McAlpin of the Braves Radio Network reports.

Withrow is optimistic that he'll be off the DL shortly after he's eligible, although more information regarding his return will likely be known soon as he increases his baseball activities in the coming days. Before being placed on the DL, Withrow had posted a 3.31 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over 40 games (32.7 innings).
