Flowers is out of the lineup against the Phillies on Thursday.

Flowers will take a seat after going 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double during Wednesday's victory over St. Louis. Kurt Suzuki will catch Kevin Gausman in the series opener versus Philadelphia.
