Cubs' Matt Murton: Makes spring debut

Murton (appendix) made his spring debut Friday, going 0-for-2 and playing left field.

Murton's appendix was removed at the beginning of March, and while it's nice to see him back on the field, he's an extreme long shot to make the team.
