Deck McGuire: Ends playing career

McGuire announced his retirement Saturday.

McGuire threw 51.2 major-league innings for the Reds, Blue Jays and Angels, recording a 5.23 ERA. He last pitched in the majors in 2018, spending the years since then pitching in the KBO, the Atlantic League and Triple-A.
