Carroll went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's loss to the Mets.
Carroll supplied a two-run homer off lefty Sean Manaea in the seventh with the game already out of reach. He now has seven home runs since Aug. 7 and is up to 15 for the year. He's hit safely in six straight games and 14 of his last 16. For the year, he's slashing .223/.310/.401 with 43 extra-base hits, 55 RBI, 94 runs, 21 steals and a 56:100 BB:K in 548 plate appearances.
