Giants' Joey Rickard: Contract selected by Giants

Rickard's contract was selected by the Giants on Wednesday.

Rickard spent camp on the 60-man roster after signing a minor-league deal with the Giants in January. He'll join the active roster to fill outfield depth, but it's unclear how much playing time he'll receive. During 68 games with the Orioles and Giants last season, Rickard hit .226 with 14 runs and 10 RBI.
