Indians' Neil Ramirez: Designated for assigment

Ramirez was designated for assignment Saturday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

The move opens up a roster spot for Adam Plutko. Ramirez had a 5.40 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 18:9 K:BB in 16.2 innings for the Indians.
