Lewin Diaz: Re-signs with KBO team

The Samsung Lions of the Korea Baseball Organization re-signed Diaz to a one-year, $1.5 million contract Tuesday, Jee-ho Yoo of the Yonhap News Agency reports.

Diaz has become a star in Korea, having slugged 50 home runs while driving in 158 runs over 144 games for the Lions in 2025. The former Marlin last appeared in the majors in 2022 and will remain overseas for at least one more season.
