Marlins' Kyle Stowers: Dealing with side tightness

Stowers is dealing with a minor side injury, and the Marlins are opting to play it safe with the left fielder by giving him the afternoon off. Heriberto Hernandez will hold down left field while Stowers is out. Stowers is slashing .288/.368/.544 in 457 plate appearances this season.
