Diaz is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rays, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
With a tough southpaw (Shane McClanahan) taking the hill for Tampa Bay, the Marlins will counter with only one left-handed hitter (Joey Wendle) in their lineup. The lefty-hitting Diaz will cede first base to Garrett Cooper.
