Nationals' Jordan Weems: Receives outright assignment

Weems cleared waivers Friday and was assigned to Triple-A Rochester.

Unsurprisingly, the 31-year-old Weems went unclaimed after logging a 6.70 ERA across 41.2 innings with the Nationals. Weems will join Rochester for the first time this season.
