Padres' Cory Spangenberg: Does bunting drills

Spangenberg did bunting drills Sunday morning, Carlos Collazo of MLB.com reports.

In Sunday's workout, Spangenberg had limited mobility, but is expected to begin treadmill running during the Padres upcoming road trip. Up to this point, Spangenberg hasn't had much (if any) movement when doing drills and has been stationary when working on fielding ground balls. An exact return date has yet to be set, but Padres' manager Andy Green expects it to be around the All-Star break.
