Phillies' Jeff Hoffman: Winds up with save

Hoffman picked up the save Tuesday, striking out one during a perfect inning against the Angels.

Hoffman was thrust into a save chance after the Phillies took the lead with a three-run top of the ninth and came through for his second save of the season. He hasn't allowed a run in 8.2 straight innings and owns a 1.29 ERA as a setup man for Jose Alvarado.
