The Phillies signed Muzziotti to a $750,000 contract, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Muzziotti, 17, was property of the Red Sox, but his contract was voided by Major League Baseball as punishment for the team's violation of the international bonus pool system. He hit .317 with a .737 OPS in 60 at-bats for Boston's Dominican Summer League team last month. He was ranked the No. 24 international prospect by Baseball America in 2015.
