Pirates' Shea Spitzbarth: Recalled by Pirates

Spitzbarth was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Friday.

Spitzbarth spent nearly a month with the minor-league club, and he posted a 5.68 ERA and 1.74 WHIP in 6.1 innings across six appearances since his demotion. He's recorded a 4.50 ERA across four major-league appearances this year, and he'll rejoin the Pirates' bullpen ahead of the final series of the 2021 campaign.
