Snell (leg) gave up one earned run on two hits and two walks over six innings in a 7-5 victory over the Blue Jays on Saturday.
The rookie put together one of the best efforts of his young career despite dealing with the residual effects of a leg bruise suffered against the Astros in his last start. Snell recorded 13 swinging strikes overall and put in his longest outing since July 24 versus the A's, while also snapping a two-start losing streak. He'll look to keep the momentum going when he takes on the Yankees next Friday.
