Ramirez cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Worcester by the Red Sox on Friday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.
After being claimed off waivers by the Red Sox on July 28, he was DFA'd by the team Wednesday. In his lone outing with Boston on Tuesday against Seattle, he gave up three runs (two earned) across 1.1 innings. Over his 38 major-league outings with four different teams this season, Ramirez has a 6.20 ERA and 1.47 WHIP across 45 innings.
