Rico Garcia: Becomes free agent

Garcia opted for free agency Thursday, per Triple-A Norfolk's transaction log.

Garcia appeared sporadically out of Baltimore's bullpen in 2022 and tallied a 4.50 ERA and 1.38 WHIP across eight innings in the majors. He lost his spot on the 40-man roster in September and will now have the chance to find his next opportunity in the league.
