Twins' Nick Gordon: Rehab assignment starts Thursday

Gordon (tibia) will begin a rehab assignment Thursday with Triple-A St. Paul, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Gordon has been out since May 17, so he may require a longer rehab assignment than the typical position player. Once activated, Gordon will likely occupy a supporting role, serving as a backup infielder while getting some starts in center field.
