Yankees' Albert Abreu: Returns to minors

Abreu was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after Tuesday's win over the Angels.

The right-hander was promoted from Triple-A over the weekend and will return there after delivering two scoreless frames Tuesday. Abreu has a 2.13 ERA across 12.2 big-league innings this season and figures to rejoin the Yankees later on this summer.
