Yankees' David McKay: Optioned to Triple-A

Mckay was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.

McKay was acquired from the Rays for cash considerations Tuesday and will be part of the Yankees' 40-man roster, but he won't break camp with the big-league squad. He owns a 6.08 ERA in 26.2 career major-league innings, so he's unlikely to find himself in a high-leverage role at any point this season.
