Hornets' Gordon Hayward: Explodes against Spurs

Hayward logged 41 points (15-19 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds and three assists over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 131-115 victory over San Antonio.

Hayward had one of the best, most efficient games of his career Wednesday, missing just four shots en route to a season-high scoring output while also contributing on the glass and as a playmaker. Hayward is not going to score more than 30 points on a regular basis, but his role as one of the Hornets' go-to players on offense is not in question.
