Javonte Smart: Loses two-way contract

Smart was waived from his two-way deal Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Smart's two-way slot will instead be filled by Kenneth Lofton, who was recently let go by the Grizzlies. Despite Smart's two-way status, he had logged only one NBA minute this season, and he will likely remain an important piece for the 76ers' G League affiliate unless another team picks him up.
